My only experience with it was one afternoon at my deer lease. I think it would function well as a regular tablet. Pat, how's it function as a regular tablet? Work OK for that? Thank you for any recommendations in advance. This way if after a long soak I can pull the camera if I am not happy with what I am seeing or if something is malfunctioning with the camera. I don't want one that will read some cards and not others nor one that will only do pictures. This tablet will need to read/play all cards (pictures/video) as my laptop does. My question is can anyone recommend a small tablet that has an sdhc card slot or usb port I can plug a card reader in to.
Going as deep as I do can really stink when I get home to read a card only to find out that after a 4 week soak there is nothing there I am interested in, the camera is malfunctioning, or it needs to be repositioned to get the shot I am looking for and now I have to go back out just to retrieve the camera scenting the woods all up again. I do this because I feel I have less of a chance having my gear stolen and the animals are not constantly being bumped all over the woods. My camera count has grown over the last 3 years and most of my sets are deep in the woods not accessible by 4 wheel drive or wheeler.
